At Sinnamon Park Medical Centre, we strive to provide you and your family with the best possible medical care.
We understand that visiting the doctor can be an uncomfortable experience for some. So, as well as providing high quality and advanced medical services, we focus on creating a warm and friendly environment where you can feel comfortable to ask any questions and share any concerns.
We value the patient-doctor relationship and will treat you respectfully and always in the strictest confidence.
Our doctors include highly qualified male and female practitioners who come from a range of backgrounds and bring with them a diversity of skills and special interests. We also have registered nurses on staff who are available to triage any urgent matters. Our administration and support staff all have exceptional people skills and are trained to assist you with all medical and general enquiries.
Our practice has a commitment to quality general practice and to continuing medical education. This way you can feel confident that we will provide up-to-date care that is always balanced with your preferences and needs.
A standard appointment is 10 to 15 minutes.
Longer consultations are available. Talk to our receptionists about what you require and they will ensure enough time is scheduled for your appointment.
Generally, longer appointments are needed for pap smears, pre-Mirena discussions and/or insertion, surgical procedures, childhood immunisations, insurance medicals, yearly check-ups, four-year-old children check-ups, or just for an extended chat with your doctor.
We are a private billing practice. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are available. We use HIC Online to transmit your claim to Medicare. Discount fees apply to concession card holders.
We cover longer than usual hours by opening from 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday (GP’s available after 6.00pm by appointment only) and 8 am to 12 noon on Saturday. Our provider for after-hours medical care is Home Doctor Service. They can be contacted on 13 74 25.
If you have a medical emergency, please dial 000 or attend your nearest hospital.
* Please note – should we close earlier than 6pm our phone will be switched to the after-hours message.
